I went by lunch after the Shosoin Gallery 's exhibition. It is cramped with a small table and a small chair in a narrow store. I really feel calm. Because there are also many foreign customers, menu guidance etc. are easy to understand. Just because there are so-called customers at a glance, the customer service is inconvenient. The older one is taking control, but I feel arrogant and high-pressure to the young clerk, which makes me feel bad. Although it is indicated as the goodwill division No. 1 store etc., it is disappointing. For the time being, I had only lunch to fill hunger.
I ordered duck duck (1500 yen). It is a sightseeing area price, soba and soup are well seasoned and tasty. It may be good for walking in the city because it is a small amount.
There were lots of foreigners in Nara Park, but there were many Japanese here. The taste is also delicious. I wonder if the quantity is unsatisfactory. There was not a bad Oobassan written in the review, many others feel good.
Cold noddle is tough. Do not go this place. It is like chewing leather.
Taste bad and expensive and everyone must order one .
★ You don't have to worry that there are many 1s!There is a review that the service of an elderly woman is ~, but when I went there was not, and I did not know because the service was to another man.The color in front of the store is goodI thought the store was a bit small, but (for other reviews; strollers could be placed at the doorway?) There was no bad atmosphere, and the store was about the change of dreamy open space It was a good impression that they talked about me.The price is cheap as a restaurant in front of the sightseeing spot, the taste is good (as seen from those who do not stick to soba) It seems.I hope this shop gets a better rating.
I do not want to go to a shop top 1 accreditation. My aunt is partitioning by myself. Buckwheat was not very tasty though, but I thought that it was like this. When I finished eating soba and issuing a bill at the cashier and paying the money, why is it passed by foreign customers from behind, because the lady does not see the face of the customer at all, so pass that fishing that I should hand over to the foreign guests It was. Are there foreigners? As I stopped with feeling like a lot, there was an aunt, just saying I made a mistake, no foreign guests or I apologize at all. If you go out afterwards to the extra events and forget to close the exit door (not on purpose), burn! ! ! And it was shut down with amazing sound. I have spoiled my memories of my trip. I really will not go there again. It is a star - 100.
There was no grandmother who had a bad customer service. Soba is not delicious. Can't be helped because it is a sightseeing spot! I feel.Recently, the quality of food is high even in sightseeing spots, so I haven't been able to find a taste because it is a sightseeing spot after a long time.
It is a soba restaurant located within the dream-style open space beside Todaiji. There is no place to mention special mention at a very ordinary soba restaurant. As a sightseeing spot, is the price cheap? The only recommendation point is that the parking lot of the dream style Hiroba will be free for 2 hours if you use more than 2000 yen. The parking lot in the vicinity of Nara Park is so expensive for two hours free. With 2 hours, Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine are sufficiently rounded so you can sightseeing by simply dining at a dream-style open-air spot without parking space alone. There are other restaurants in the dream-style open-air conference, so it's not that I should eat soba.
Poor service from the old lady
Visit without seeing the word of mouth. No soba flavor. Say Koshi or harden a little. After that, I was convinced to see the review.I do not recommend it!The landlady's customer service was good.
It's not good that there is a bureau that separates you and you can't sleep slowly if you return early, and that the space between the seats is small, but the soba is very delicious (๑ ・ ̑◡ ・ ̑๑)
Others also wrote, but the elderly lady was very uncomfortable. Speaking of them, grandmothers who are enthusiastic about business, or worse, those who are impatient. Instruct the staff around you. And instruct the customer. I rushed to eat, wondering if this was bad ... It's not a relaxed atmosphere. Once you finish eating, you can clean up immediately. I feel silent "Get out early". The location is good, so it's just a good thing and the attitude is at the lowest level. Even my Japanese respond to this. How do you treat foreigners who do not understand Japanese? It's misleading that you've come to Nara and it's so cold. Price is also very bullish. If you just spend money on such a store, you should go to a nicer store.
I quite enjoyed it, not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Went there in the afternoon so the place was not crowded at all. It is a little bit pricy though, especially for the amount of food you get. There are options for vegetarians and they are equally tasty. The staff does their best to make it comfortable for you and is very nice.
行って後悔したので同じ思いしてほしくないです。I want to be honest about this restaurant as one of Japanese. Before I came here, i was wondering why there're so many bad ratings. but it makes sense, so I put 2 stars. 2 foreigners(friends of mine) and I put my name on a waiting list and waited for 15 minutes. When i was called, one of waitresses, who is around 60 yrs old, told us to come quickly inside this restaurant (actually shouted to us. ) I'm quite satisfied with the quality and price of soba, but really disappointed with her attitude. She's walking around us a lot to make sure we keep eating & whether there is any plates she can take. I thought as if we were at a fast food restaurant feeling uncomfortable all the time. If you wanna stay for a while & have lunch with good vibes, DO NOT come here, otherwise you'll regret & it will ruin your trip in Nara.
They force you to order 1 noodle each, and the prices are super high for all Japan. The taste is not good either. Please avoid unless starving.
Too bad
The price is expensive and not worth it. Noodle taste like the frozen noodles from conventions store. The second star I give is to the owner - the friendly grandma.
Awesome experience
In fact, it is expensive, other parts are generally not good or bad. - Simple and clear menu - hot tea - The amount of meals is very small, and it feels a lot worse on the hand-painted menu.
Worst experience of any restaurant in Japan. Skip it.
Expensive soba noodles. Noodles stick to your teeth and is hard to get it out. Herring was powdery and tempura was soft and squishy.
When you enter the store, don't welcome me, “Put the stroller outside! "I was told by an elderly female clerk. I left the store as it was because the overall atmosphere was not so good, but I was convinced by reading the evaluations of others.Tourists who enter without knowing that the store looks like a delicious soba restaurant are a pity.
I am a buckwheat store that I found when I was walking in Nara Park.It is a very nice place to take a rest after a walk.Soba is the essential but it was a satisfactory taste of buckwheat.
Not sure why so many bad reviews but 3 of us ate delicious soba dishes. Yes they are 25% overpriced but walking distance to Todaiji, so in the heart of tourist area. Worth it so as-not to waste time looking for cheaper place. Plus it has a/c which is a big plus to escape the heat.
It likes a home cooking restaurant but the food is not amazing or outstanding. I would prefer other restaurant.
Soba is just okay. You cannot bring your kids if they are a slow eater as the store personnel will look at you once the restaurant is full and there is no seating available, they will give you the glance.
ビールとざる蕎麦を頼みました。ざる蕎麦は大盛りを頼みましたが少し物足りない感じが…。ビールは瓶のみのお店です。
I took a lot of accounts. I'm crying because I can not issue a receipt. The store clerk's grandfather's clothes are quite insane and unfriendly. The taste is so so, the price is it.
The service is standard and the soba is good. Not sure why there are so many one stars.
If you are in Nara near the main temple, it is a rich place to eat, they have a menu in English, it was our turn that there were several people in front of us on the list but the wait time was not long since the service is fast, the place is small but recommendable.
It was the worst for both customer service taste. Since I was hungry, I could not eat it although it was useless because it was a shop that I entered by jumping without seeing the word-of-mouth. Hand-made? It is regrettable that it was about the taste of boiling dry noodles.
As others have said, the elderly female store clerk is very uncomfortable. You can't see the other clerk or customer flying a kite. The taste of soba seems to be controversial, but I thought it was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so stressful because of her shout to customers and servers. The taste of soba is good for me, but soba-yu is not so much tasty As other reviewers pointed out, the elder lady is too arrogant and aggressive. .
Small portions and high price. Not worth it.
The menu is almost only for soba, but it is not enough taste to be critically acclaimed. It is reasonably delicious. The parking lot is joint. Free for 2 hours for over 2,000 yen.
The buckwheat noodles were powdery and not very tasty for the price. Also, it was a pity that when I finished eating, I arrived immediately and was urgently charged for accounting.
The more you chew, the more impressive the buckwheat noodles. It's not chewy, but it's lightly made with buckwheat instead of flour. The reason why there are so many stars is that you usually eat buckwheat noodles that have a lot of flour, and chew the noodles with lots of buckwheat.
I got a soba noodle. The tempura was crispy and delicious.
Counter seat, table seat.It is a narrow store. He told me not to leave a gap.
Prices slightly above average. English menu is available and staff is friendly. Ambiente and view are not great. Food is below average, especially compared to most other restaurants. I found mine to be way to watery and with little taste.
We ordered duck soba and tempura egg toji soba. The taste was Kansai and it was delicious.
Very very very delicious! The price is close to the people, the grandmother in the store is very kind, is a place that would like to recommend to a friend, and then visit twice.
The service we got was fine. The food was the worst soba & tempura I've had in my few years here. & I often eat both. Soba doesn't have good flavor or texture. Tempura uses old oil & is not light or very crispy .. 1,350¥ a meal. Only went in here as other places long Q, & we wanted to get out of the rain.
Exquisite, dear, recommended.
Saturday lunch is crowded.Write your name and wait outside. It will be hard to wait for rain in midsummer and midwinter. The weather was good and it was hot in the shade. I was tired from walking to Shoshoin Exhibition, Todaiji Temple and Shosoin, so I sat on a wooden bench and waited. You can see Wakakusayama in front of the window on the left hand side, almost in front of you. The “Soba” flag is disturbing in the way of fluttering. People tinyAlthough it is the most important soba noodles, I asked for tempura soba noodles. Tempura was delicious. We also had soba soup.
Don’t even try. I thought the bad rating only for the service. I found it’s poor quality of soba noodles, worse than instant noodle. Very pricy for such plain and tasteless soba.
Only special seasons Zaru comes with a heavenly soup!Tempura is a good way to fry, but the ingredients are thin and smallSoba noodles are mysterious noodles strong?Tourist attraction priceYou can get a parking ticket for a well-located parking lot for 2000 yen or more.
